Let’s face it: life ebbs and flows, back and forth, between mountain peaks and valleys. It’s good, it’s messy, and it can be sometimes just plain hard. This month’s print reminds us that as Jesus followers, we are called to persevere, even when what we can manage looks like a slow, slow crawl, dragging ourselves to life’s finish line. Let this print etch in your brain and heart. Let it encourage you to press in and press on, when times are not ideal. Look for the small moments of joy, and thank God for the opportunity to be present at this time on Earth. He’s picked such a time as this to put you on this planet, so let’s consider the trials we endure joy-earning events, bringing us one step closer to being in His presence where we will be continually rejoicing, and no longer suffering.
